Credit Repair Process

When Working with Vitesse Financial

The Basic Steps

  1. Please submit a copy of your current credit report from each of the credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. We recommend: http://www.myfico.com/ if you don't already have a report. Along with your credit report, please send copies of the following:
  • Drivers license or ID card

  • Your Social Security Card (if you have it) OR any document that shows your name and SS# (such as W-2 form, paystub, bank statement, or medical insurance card)

  • Any ONE of the following showing your NAME and CURRENT ADDRESS: electric, gas, water, cable TV bill, voters or auto registration or top part of any bank statement.

  • Your list of the adverse information appearing on your credit report that Vitesse Financial shall attempt to repair, which shall be incorporated into the Agreement.**

**Please note: these items must be specifically outlined as to Account name, Inquires Company name, as well as personal information, and the reason for inaccuracies or incorrectness.

  1. Once we have received this information, we will go over everything and provide a free consultation to go through your credit report and list of adverse information that you would like for us to work on. From there we can get a better idea of how long we think our services will last as well as provide any other information to optimize your credit.

  2. During this initial free consultation we like to discuss your particular situation with the accounts that you have and how they are affecting your score. Vitesse takes pride in working with clients one-on-one, to help inform clients to their exact situation, so they can understand and take steps to better their credit score and situation over time. Even after they have left our program.

  3. After the consultation we will compile the disputes and send them to each of the credit bureaus. We send everything in writing to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion and are specific to each credit bureau. They legally have 30 days to respond to our dispute letters, and will send you correspondence regarding their investigations.

  4. Updated credit reports will be sent directly to you after approximately 45 days. Please go through them and indicate anything new you would like for us to work on and forward those reports to our office. Those reports will indicate any changes as to items being deleted or updated as well as if there is new information to dispute. We will use those reports to update your file and keep track of the progress.

  5. The cycle of Vitesse Financial sending the dispute letters and you receiving updated reports from the credit bureaus will continue based upon how many questionable items remain on your credit report.

Please remember that it is important to maintain an on time payment history on all of your current monthly payments for the duration of your use of our credit repair services. If you do fall behind, please let us know immediately so that we can seek to minimize damage to your credit.
